A colour photograph of a river flowing (from left to right) through agricultural land. There are swans on the water, and a small island splitting the course into two. Ripples in places suggest the water is shallow. There is a tree on the far bank, and a barn beyond it. In the far distance, Pendle Hill surveys the scene, beneath low, broken cloud.

Yearning for the Wall country, but unable to go just yet, & my last trip in November feels like years ago. Last stop on the way home was @vindolandatrust.bsky.social & their wonderful wall reconstructions.
Looking forward to new trips later in the spring!
