Big crowd at the #austin #cap10k today. Super muggy but the rain held off. Not my best effort but within the goal I set myself.

Found out Cap10K is the 4th largest in the country (yay? Yikes?)

Made a playlist timed out for each kilometer counting down so my playlist starts with “The 10 Duel Commandments”

Ran the #cap10k here in Austin this morning. Chilly and windy but overall good running weather. 3 mins faster than last year but not near my PB. Big crowds today as well which is always fun.

I walked the Capital 10k today in Austin with Jude & my kids and it was great. I was worried about the distance because my wheels have been cranky since I’ve been moving less since my shoulder surgery but they behaved for the most part. #agingshouldntsuck #afriendlynudge #cap10k

Flashback five years ago to 2020 when I pulled this beast of a bib number for the virtual #cap10k!

10K did not go according to plan today. Hoped to finish sub 54. The course was incredibly hilly and I gassed out super early. But hey, just over 9 per mile isn't bad I suppose.
