Oh yes It did, I was literally holding my breath.
#ChallengerTrauma
I was crying watching the launch and I didn't realise why until just now. #challengertrauma
Wait, who is on duty to pastor the #ChallengerTrauma?
(Also does #Nasa have chaplains?)
Didnโt realize I still had some Xennial #challengerTrauma.
They herded a generation into classrooms and wheeled those TVโs that were lashed to AV carts. They were so proud, sharing in the joy of the teacher who went to space, and then it happened. It probably explains a lot about my generation.
I'll admit it. I watched the Artemis II launch with a mix of hope and dread. I let out a huge sigh of relief past the 73 second mark. #ChallengerTrauma
So, my Challenger Trauma happened when I was in the 1st grade. I just remember Mrs. Jordan running up front to turn the TV off, then being assembled in the gym to ease our collective trauma. #Challenger #Challengertrauma
So much affection for all of you #ChallengerTrauma. We carry on.
I, too, reliving my #ChallengerTrauma, but still glued to the live feed.
#ChallengerTrauma is a thing. I mean, my whole generation watched seven people die on a blurry 19" prison TV bolted to a rickety metal cart with a room number in sharpie on the side. We watched them suddenly un-be and without a fucking word, they just sent us home for the day and nobody talked.
All of Gen X at least likely suffers from Challenger Trauma. We watched that shit live while in school. #ChallengerTrauma
Best argument for a space elevator ever; #ChallengerTrauma
I didn't think this was a thing but I was in high school when it happened and I refuse to watch anything like that ever again. So I guess it is.

Dwight from The Office shouting โChallenger Trauma is not a joke, Jim! Millions of Gen Xers suffer every year!โ
I'm not saying we had it easier than the public school kids or giving that hell on earth place (St. Thomas More, Kansas City, all the ๐๐ฝ) too much credit, but this is ONE time it was very good that we could be swept right into the church for a Mass for the souls of the astronauts. #ChallengerTrauma
Rememberinh watching that launch in an assemnlh of entire parochial grade school, from 5-y-o kids up to 8th graders. Everyone cross-legged on the floor. The older students, in the back, actually could barely see the small tv (& that turned out to be a good thing for us). #ChallengerTrauma

This is my Artemis! Known as Misty to her friends. Iโm so relieved the launch went ok. I donโt think I will ever forget Christa McAuliffe and co. #challengertrauma
Rolled in the TV into class to watch Challenger. Rolled it back out and just continued with math class like it was a regular day. I have never watched a live manned launch since. #challengertrauma #artemis
I was really glad to see #ChallengerTrauma trending.
I actually walked away a couple times and kept coming back for a peak. My girlfriend (who is 5 years younger than me) didnโt understand and asked โwhatโs wrong with you?โ as she looked at me weird ๐๐๐๐
At least the internet understands ๐ซก
I feel this so much #challengertrauma
I was whispering, โPlease, donโt blow up, Please, donโt blow up!โ Over & overโฆ. #Artemisll
#ChallengerTrauma
Same. Wanted to watch this launch with the kids.
Couldn't do it.
#ChallengerTrauma is real.
#ChallengerTrauma Sadly I witnessed the Challenger explosion from Orlando and I just held my breath duringthis launch. What a relief to see this go well. Whew!!!
