Seascape picture with misty looking land in the background, then sea with waves rolling in towards a beach which is not quite visible beneath a small drop. Above the drop is an area of grass and stones. The sky is grey with hints of cloud.

A #seascape today, for a peaceful scene. #Gwythian looking towards #StIves. #Cornwall #Cornishphotos #photography

Rainbow looking as though it is coming out of the little rock island on which Godrevy lighthouse stands. Waves are crashing to the left of the island, and there are white waves rolling in towards the shore on the right hand side of the photo.

Amazing view today when we went to #Gwythian. A rainbow over #Godrevy lighthouse. #Cornwall #CornishPhotos #photography #SeaPhotos #RainbowPhoto

Sunset over trees and a house; the sky is a peachy-orange colour, with a large yellow splodge where the sun has just gone behind the hill. There are some trees in silhouette against the sky, and a house visible in the centre (further houses to the left of the picture).

Sunset, taken from #Penzance.

I’m behind on keeping up with followers, sorry. It’s been complicated round here lately, so have a pretty sunset to make up.

The main picture has grassy fields bordered with little hedges. There is moorland in the distance to the left, and the sea to the middle and right, all with the blue sky above. In the foreground, there is a bank of grass and other shrubs. It is very calm, green and blue.

Sunday evening #Cornwall #photography time. I’m feeling peaceful after Quaker meeting and this is a serene view, as Cornish views go. #CornishPhotos

A straight tarmacked road leads straight down the middle of this photo. To either side is grassy moorland, geeen, fading into yellow and brown. In front is the sea, with a flat horizon leading to a blue sky, paler at the back and darker at the top.
If you zoom in, there’s a house on the moor on the middle right of the picture, but it’s difficult to see whether it’s fit for human habitation or not. Still, the temptation to live somewhere like that on bad days is strong in me…

I’m in a terrible mood, so have a photo I call “the lure of the open road”. Hopefully it will help cheer all of us.

Sunset over Newlyn. The sun has disappeared beneath the horizon, sending up one last gush of golden flame into the sky on the right hand side of the photo, with the sky salmon pink, fading to dark grey, above it. The skyline is dotted with trees in silhouette, and to the left of the photo - where the sky is a little lighter still - you can see the rows of houses on the hillside, while in the sky a lone large bird flaps past.

Today, the sky was beautiful when I came back from hydrotherapy. #Cornwall #CornishPhotos #Sunset

St Michael’s Mount, a small island with a tiny “castle” on top of it, catches the eye in this photo. It is slightly out of focus, because I had to zoom in to get this view. It is a little hill of an island, and isn’t cut off at low tide; it is impossible to see if it is cut off now, because the island slides off the side of the picture. But in front of it is blue sea, then masses of sand with brown seaweed splashed across it.
The entire beach is empty, as is the sea, and you can see no one on the island either, so the entire area looks quite still, quiet, and deserted. The sky is light blue, and the waves gently lap on the shore.

St Michael’s Mount, taken (most romantically) from Long Rock car park. Spouse can drive me there occasionally to look at the sea, and just “be”. At least, in winter. In summer, the car park will be too crowded for this, as will the beach! #Cornwall #CornishPhotos #TinyJoys #DisabilityOutings
