A group of small buttercup-yellow Narcissus bulbocodium, the petticoat daffodil or hoop-petticoat daffodil, native to southern and western France, Portugal, and Spain. They are pictured growing in a greenhouse at RHS Wisley garden in Surrey in a gravel bed with the plant’s thin green leaves and stalks making a perfect contrast to the flower’s zingy yellow. There is still time for a bunch of tiny (very tiny) #DailyDaffodils right now if I hurry. Take a bow the Petticoat Daffodil.
