I remember hearing about Dr. Jack Kevorkian in the early 1990s, when the media called him “Dr. Death.” I was too young to understand the gravity of what he was challenging. Back then, it felt distant and extreme.

I believe dignity should not end when medicine reaches its limits. Missouri is having this conversation now, and it matters. This isn’t about giving up — it’s about choosing peace when the end is already written.
