My #DoctoWho rewatch has hit Spearhead from Space. It looks great and, as much as I love Troughton, the show feels fresher than season 6.

But I'm really struggling with why everyone calls Liz, Miss Shaw rather than the accurate and appropriate Dr Shaw.

Is it to avoid confusion or is it misogyny?

Ha!! Yeah, very silly and playing with the fourth wall breaks we’ve seen so far. I enjoyed it though the victory condition seemed a little spurious given who the bad guy was. Like the god of guns turned out to be allergic to too many bullets. Still, fun!
