Planters and bollards at The Avenue modal filter, Bristol, UK.

Planters and bollards at The Avenue modal filter, Bristol, UK.

Ducie Road (Barton Hill) and The Avenue (St George); the proposal at both these locations is to remove the bollards and planters that were installed as part of the trial, and replace them with ANPR cameras.

Did you know that Bristol City Council is consulting on making changes to some of the #EBLN trial measures? I'm going to post about each change so that you can have a think if it effects you, and submit a comment if you want. First up, Victoria Avenue.

600 responses to #EBLN survey, very depressing. Seemingly controversial, relevant to people's lives. Still barely anyone takes time to give their thoughts #Bristol #transport #uk

One negative of the #EBLN I've been stuck behind the lantern parade for 15 minutes because there are no alternative routes I can take #Bristol

Hmm, completed the online survey for the East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood. I had initially dismissed complaints from my neighbours about the survey design, but it was very odd. There was no comparative element about before the trial and since, no questions about changed behaviour or […]

The #EastBristolLiveableNeighbourhood #EBLN survey is a stitch up. It's a multiple choice questionnaire designed to produce that "repondents agreed that safer streets, less traffic, cleaner air and green spaces are important". There's nowhere to suggest what's wrong and where it might be improved.

Anyone else in a login death loop for the #ebln survey? The forgot user name and forgot password links produce nothing as well? ⁦@BristolLive

Will be interesting to see the impact on traffic. This is during the 6 month #EBLN trial. Might have been better to have done this prior to other #EBLN works, but on the other hand it wouldn't have been a fair trial if all other road closures were suspended during the period @robbryher.bsky.social

My cycle to work today, through low traffic EBLN and the Dings, and then traffic free Castle Park, was idyllic. It might not be Amsterdam, but it’s starting to feel a lot like it 🚲🌳🌷

The Sustrans "conspiracies" on Twitter around the #EBLN in #bristol are absolutely mad, was making jokes about the "Sustrans lobby" to friends and it turns out to be a real "concern" of people

Sad to see parts of low traffic neighbourhood in Redfield Bristol already broken and being circumvented, cars driving on pavement illegally instead of driving 3 mins extra #EBLN

Seems like posts on Twitter about #EBLN are not quite as negative as they were (were bordering on the deranged). Not sure if that is just my small search or whether apathy on that side of the debate or slightly more people posting in favour #bristol #cars #cycling #traffic

I really wish the 'journalists' reporting on the East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood #EBLN would do just some basic research. Bus gates were never mentioned? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0q19v77edvo you can still access the statutory consultation materials at […]

I visited Barton Hill's latest Bus Gat, can't wait for our bus to be faster and more reliable travelling through Barton Hill, the council just need to paint the 'E'! #Bristol #EBLN

The #EastBristolLiveableNeighbourhood #EBLN has tamed Beaufort Road to the point that we’ve been able to restart our #PlayStreet @playingout.bsky.social ❤️❤️❤️
