I’m on day 5 of ear drops and my ear truly feels worse than it did the day I went in. I had no pain that day. Now I am taking ibuprofen multiple times a day. Is this just how a ruptured eardrum heals?!

And, I still managed to get water in my ears. Despite spending a long time making sure I covered as much of my external ear as possible. It might be time for me to give in to the suggestion of tubes or balloon procedure.
