In 2021 the "Pharaoh Cicada" or better known as the 17yr cicada came about. It was my first time ever living through them and I was so appalled by how loud they sung that I couldn't bear the idea of them all being gone in a matter of days. I was lucky enough to have one that was mostly dying land on my pants leg. I through him in my bag and forgot about him til I got home which is why some of his wings are damaged. Other than that he's been here waiting to be shown off to those who might not ever get the chance to see them in person.
One day I'll find a way to put these bugs I've acquired through the years in pendants. For now we keep them safe in their viles til time comes.
