Ascopolyporus is a really cool genus in the Cordycipitaceae which is found only on bamboo. Like other fungi in the Cordycipitaceae it parasitizes insects - in this case bamboo scale insects.

Gibellula fruiting from a spider in Pastaza, Ecuador. Gibellula is in the Cordycipitaceae and I find it by looking on the underside of leaves.
