people disappear-

like molasses.
Its viscosity
keeps bugs from flying out
keeps hungry vultures attached
keeps ancient ecosystems intact
keeps growing taller, sinking down low…
Ice Age climate change secrets stacked for us.

Lost
In self
My wineglass
Slips from my hand
Self-medication
Shelves the façade for now
I walk familiar dreamscapes
You, Me, and #The_Story_of_Us
Startled awake to taps on glass panes
Naught but wind in willows, mourning with me
