Due to unavoidable circumstances I was not able to check back in on it for a little under an hour and when I did, I was greeted with this magnificent spectacle. The process of a cicada emerging is called #ecdysis, the shed shells of their old selves are called #exuviae

Perhaps a Large red damselfly as was seen flying the day before in garden.

This one was under pine trees in Brede High Woods.
