The 19th Century wall fountain (Albrechtsbrunnen also called Danube Fountain, an allegory to the connection between the City of Vienna and the Danube River) to the left with several wall sculptures to the right. Above the fountain wall, to the right, Albertina Palace. In the square above the fountain, in front of the palace, an equestrian statue of Archduke Albrecht. "In March 1945, the Albertina was heavily damaged by USAAF bomb attacks. The building was rebuilt in the years after the war and was completely refurbished and modernized from 1998 to 2003."
