Against an azure blue sky, a mountain peak rises to a point. But the mountain appears to be composed of mudstone, which can be seen to show signs of eroding away. Dotted on the surface are rocks and boulders of a harder consistency, indicating a complex depositional environment. A few scattered juniper trees appear along the centerline of the image.
