I haven't made posts for our #GGJ project since yesterday, but that's because I've been drawing all of the characters all day! I drew the sprites for all 24 characters, including animations and expression variations for each of them. Now to import them!

I've had a productive #GGJ24 day so far! Managed to program most of the database entries & event logic for the recruitment system. Also made placeholder maps and a navigation guide for all of the environments. Not bad for a few hours of work!

Havin an absolute blast working on a wee game's UI for #GGJ24 ✨️

Before heading off to bed for the first night of the #GGJ, I imported the 3D model that @nimbusstev.bsky.social made and then put my super rough UI concept in there to get some of the clickable buttons in the HUD set up!

I've been working on a lot of the programming aspects of our #GGJ project, so not a lot of visuals here, but I did make a lot of progress! The basic game loop of the battle system is done, it just needs the dialogue and actual art.

I finished the walking animation for the protagonist (Lupita) of our #GGJ project! I exported the spritesheet and got him walking around in our test scene in RPG Maker.

I started on a few style/look tests for our #GGJ project. I've been experimenting and trying to figure out some of the visuals. One idea is to use pre-rendered 3D backgrounds, so I tested drawing a character overtop an existing one my brother made previously.
