On #HumanRightsDay2025 I've celebrated in my usual way with a bit of #bellringing, specifically 181 changes of #Grandsire Triples.
I think I recall this being the traditional wedding touch of the Ancient Society of College Youths – can anyone confirm, please?

Today is the 80th Anniversary of #VJDay, so once again I joined in with #bellringing folks across the country to "ring out in celebration of peace" at 6:30pm this evening.
On this occasion I rang possibly my first ever #Grandsire Royal and conducted #Grandsire Triples.

#Onthisday 300 years ago in 1725 the first peal of #PlainBob Major was rung. Also #Onthisday 250 years ago in 1775 the first peal of #Grandsire Major was rung.
What better excuse for some more #bellringing on my home tower!
