#Onthisday 300 years ago in 1726 the first peal of #PlainBob Maximus was rung. You might think I'd celebrate this by ringing 300 Plain Bob Maximus – but I didn't want to ring on 12 bells, so instead I rang 600 Double Bob Minor. Double the #bellringing on half the bells!

More #bellringing at home today, this time celebrating the 300th Anniversary of the first peal of #PlainBob Royal, rung #onthisday in 1725.
Naturally I also rang #PlainBob Royal (and enjoyed it more than I thought I would!), conducting a simple "Wrong & Home" touch.
