This is a special portrait of a Green Anole lizard who came to my window. When I'm indoors and a creature looks in the window, I imagine they're asking "What are you doing in there?" ... and I think to myself "What AM I doing in here? I COULD be outside watching lizards and butterflies and birds and bees and moths. So this basically feels like an invitation ... and as such, I accept it and have never once regretted doing so.
When you live in South Florida, it's not unusual for lizards to show up at your window. This one's a Green Anole. (More in Alt Text.)
