Last week I visited #Hartington in #Derbyshire and popped into St Giles Church which dates back to the 13th century though much of the present building is medieval with Victorian restoration. Inside had an area honouring local war heroes. #Lestweforget #FontsOnFriday #Peakdistrict #Church #History
Been a bit AWOL of late. I've been in a local #panto which is hard work but worth it. And then went on a little break to the #PeakDistrict which was wet and cold, but still very much needed. I did find some interesting tales for future episodes though & Juno the pup had great fun. #Hartington #Dogs
The Old Cheese Shop - Hartington. Hartington is famous for Stilton cheese and is a beautiful little village in Derbyshire popular with tourists.
