The value of a Helpline can’t be overestimated and this is certainly the case where the Live Fear Free Helpline is concerned. As a 24/7/365 service offering support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence the Helpline may be the only place where any kind of solace can be found when all other agencies and support networks have closed for the day.
Offering that safe, anonymous and confidential space to be able to speak freely to someone in their language of choice is invaluable. Often it’s been said that the Helpline helps to change people’s life but it can also ultimately save people’s lives.
