This tool is called a pinking chisel. It's used to cut out scalloped embellishments in garments. It was a fairly simple forging with hand filed edge.

These were made for an auction. They're loosely based on a French hunting knife dated to the 18th. C. It's 5160 for the steel and red oak handles. All hand forged and finished.

A walnut table with turned legs and stretchers. The table was built between 1700 and 1750. The top of the table has warped a bit on one side and is no longer flat.
After the blanket chest is done, I get to make a table (see photo) with my coworker. Both of us are still learning how to turn so it'll be great practice. I'm really hoping I get more time to turn because it's a skill I really want to perfect.
