Seed pods of the Honesty plant (also known as the money plant) in a window drying. They are flat pods and you can see the seeds inside. The seeds are sorta roundish ovals. Each pod has a different number of seeds from two to six. They sorta look like flat oval, green dice in the light.

Lunaria annua (honesty) is named for its translucent seed pods, which resemble moons when dried. Each flat disc is actually a central membrane- once the outer layers fall away, light passes clean through. Medieval gardeners prized them for ‘silver’ in the winter garden.
