#horrorwatch has monthly themes and is often very retro. This month is tied to horror musicals, and Saturday night is 1980's Forbidden Zone.
(One other thing I love about #folkhorrorfriday and #horrorwatch is they always pick a movie that is free to stream - usually on Tubi)

at first I thought she hated Cathyβs mother because she hated her (Lauraβs) mother for leaving her and thus indirectly causing her fiery death
then it seemed to be more generalized misogyny
but then she killed Paul
but spared her brother (Cathyβs father), whom she should have hated #HorrorWatch

the child actor had a very compelling presence; I still feel a little creeped out by her glare
Tubi thought I wanted to watch The Bad Seed next, which was funny
