Blue sky with clouds, and pine trees.
This image displays a stunning example of cirrocumulus clouds.
These are thin, white, patchy clouds that often form ripples or rows, sometimes called a "mackerel sky" because they resemble fish scales.
They are high-altitude clouds composed primarily of ice crystals.

"I would build a cloudy House
For my thoughts to live in...
- E.B. Browning.

My afternoon walks on mostly sunny days are always rewarded with a beautiful sky. This one has a stunning display of cirrocumulus clouds. 🌤️

Let a man be measured by flowers-
by what grows from the earth,
Not by what wounds with the tongue.
Only flowers I ask for in poetry,”

which were years.
Their petals, red with joy, or
bleached with tears,
Waved to and fro i’ the winds of
hopes and fears.”

“My tears are like the quiet drift
Of petals from some magic rose;
And all my grief flows from the rift
Of unremembered skies and snows.
I think, that if I touched the earth,
It would crumble;
It is so sad and beautiful,
So tremulously like a dream.”
