I asked for an actual meeting link & they ghosted. Feels far more rampant since COVID & remote work.

Honestly shocked at how much professionalism eroded since COVID & remote work. A close friend had an interview scheduled & the interviewer never even showed up — completely ghosted him.

I’ve experienced the same. Hiring feels transactional now & basic courtesy feels optional.

Aside from being an author, I’m a senior-level marketing professional w/ 10+ yrs in social & digital.

I’m always stunned when companies ask when you graduated—it’s a sneaky age check. I won’t apply to places that practice ageism.

What matters is the degree, skills & experience.
