"The asteroid’s probability of impacting the Moon has slightly increased from 3.8% to 4.3%. In the small chance that the asteroid were to impact, it would not alter the Moon’s orbit."

Looking forward to hearing about these observations at the Planetary Defense Conference. The size and characterization info will be fascinating (and perhaps actionable). How precise should the astrometric uncertainties be? But I am bemused the hashtag is #2024YR4 and not #K24Y04R
