#SWAT4HCLS is over.
Today, I am at the #KNCV CTC meeting, where we are launching the #Cheminformatics and #DrugDiscovery working group, as part of the CTC Section
The final stage of my #conference tour is today in Amsterdam at the spring meeting of the #MedChem and #ChemBio division of #KNCV in Amsterdam #KNCVMCCB2026.
Looking forward to a full day of exciting Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology #research.

#NextGenChemLeaders by #KNCV was an amazing event. A lot of fruit for thought, how to be a more influential academic. Made many great connections.
Thank you to the organizers, Nine Gerrits, Albert Wong, Ioana Ilie (@biosim-lab.bsky.social), Michael Lerch, Jan-Willem Toering and Shirin Alex-Willemse.
The fifth and last day of the #NextGenChemLeaders by #KNCV was all about, how to increase your circle of influence. Important insights by Liedewij Laan (Beta in Bestuur en Beleid), Rosanne Hertzberger (NSC) and Arend Zomer (University of Twente, NWO).

The fourth day of #NextGenChemLeaders by #KNCV was all about thinking about #leadership. We learned a lot about personal leadership, leadership in the Netherlands and leadership in chemistry.
Great discussion today at #NextGenChemLeaders by #KNCV led by Ioana Ilie (@biosim-lab.bsky.social) on building scientific partnerships that last! The focus: creating powerful, long-term consortia.

Great discussion with Wilhelm Huck at #NextGenChemLeaders by #KNCV with exciting insights into his career. Especially interesting thoughts on competition in science and how it is more about competing for thinking about the best ideas first than competing to do the obvious next step the quickest.
