Don’t you just love a neat column of cables? This is a swatch I knit using a slightly fuzzy charcoal grey wool. It has a column of closely packed cables running down the center. It’s sitting on my kitchen counter.

I’m just knocking out my FOs this week! This is a sample I’m knitting for a new design. Next step is to rough draft a pattern - a good enough goal for the week.

2. Get another spooky beanie going for brandi
3. Actually make a swatch for once in my dang life because I'm going to try knitting socks for the first time!

Ok this weekend's #knittinggoals:
1) Finish 1st practice Squirrels afghan square
2) Decide whether or not to make a second square or to go ahead and work on the shawl wip
3) Cake up yarn and cast on for fingerless mitts for a friend

And ends woven in. Half of one goal done. #KnittingGoals #knitting
