Hard to summarise the mood of an entire conference but #lab24 felt more optimistic than anticipated. Witnessed some tubthumping speeches from Miliband and Streeting. Jim McMahon very bullish about filling in the English devo map. And Liverpool is of course the best host city (when the rain stops).

Of course, it's a reasonable speech; but the failure to set out coherently his party's plan for economic growth, the UK's relationship with its EU neighbours, housing, immigration, or social care reforms may well cause problems in the long-term for his party. #Lab24
