Thank you for your concerns. It's great that you create a patchwork of habitats. No Mow May is intended to be a gateway for people to better manage green spaces all summer. Our initiative encourages participants to extend their efforts beyond May, embracing #LetItBloomJune & the rest of the season.

Bladlus har, her i haven, i stort tal nydt fraværet af de bladlusspisende mariehønelarver, men nu er der måske en ændring på vej ...

A scene of an uncut lawn hazy with flowering grasses, further back is knapweed illuminated by the golden setting sun.
Day 23 #30DaysWild Golden hour in the garden. #LetitbloomJune and the feathery grass flowers are waving to the knapweed that has Yellow Rattle at its feet. Just out of view are Field Scabious and Betony. Later bats will visit to chase the moths that hide here.

Beautiful blueweed that I found in a wildflower patch on campus! #LetItBloomJune
No Mow May was just the beginning. 🌼
Let It Bloom June invites us to keep the mower parked a little longer, giving wildflowers time to blossom and pollinators the habitat they need to survive.

Shared the pic I took of wild #Turkeys 🦃 enjoying the bird seed and bugs in our yard #LetItBloomJune 🌼 with family and yup got the old dinner 🍽️ plate emoji and good with stuffing and cranberries comment 🤦🏻♀️.
Plenty of Pyramidal orchids on the verges in Dorset this week. Don’t seem too impacted by lack of earlier rain.

We've left half of our garden to meadow, which has been very exciting. We've been rewarded by a northern marsh orchid! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Kaitlyn sits in her garden with a painted roof tile in her hands and three more around her.
A painted roof tile saying Go Peat Free for Peat's Sake. Help save the environment.
A painted roof tile saying Pond Life. Think BIG start small. A haven for wildlife.
A painted roof tile saying A Living Lawn! A mix of wildflowers attracts pollinators. Long grass for shelter. short grass for birds to forage.
How gorgeous are these tiles that Kaitlyn has drawn for us? They'll feature at various events promoting #wildlifegardening. Have you implemented any of these at home yet? @wildlifebcn.org #letitbloomjune #pondlife #peatfree

We do #NoMowMay and now do #LetItBloomJune 💚🌸🌺🌼Yesterday I mowed several areas & the rest left for pollinators & wildlife. If everyone did this we’d have more #Pollinators 🧡🐝🦋🐞and a healthier planet. Also never use #WeedKillers !!! Let the rabbits enjoy the dandelions 🌼.
Après #maisanstonte #NoMowMay, laissons fleurir juin. Pas de tonte non plus !

A tiny Common Spotted Orchid has popped up in my #LetItBloomJune lawn in urban Boro and I'm delighted. A Northern Marsh Orchid appeared in 2023 but not seen this species in the garden before.
