A landscape oriented image taken one recent wintery walk. It’s generally been pretty mild, in fact it’s gone mild again now, but we recently had two very cold days. In the image we see a frozen pond, close to so the icy surface fills the frame. It has a slightly blue hue and is marked with frozen ripples and bubble. Just walked into frame from the left is male mallard duck and his reflection in the ice. He is mid stride with his closest foot in the air, almost appearing to be skating.
