His expression is cold, his helmet has horns and bull ears, his hair and beard are black like smoke, and he has bags under his eyes, which are small details that add some character to him. Beside him is an undead soldier dressed in a Sumerian uniform. He is a gidim (a Sumerian ghost or spirit), and because he probably died in battle or from infection (or maybe both), it makes sense to place him next to Nergal.
