During a #TotalSolarEclipse, the Sun is progressively covered by the Moon until, when it's totally hidden behind the Moon during #totality, a black disk is seen where the Sun should be. This black "hole in the sky" is surrounded by the Sun's corona & looks like an "eye in the sky" aka "eye of God".
