Has Standard become a turn 3 format?
Back in the day, the philosophy for Modern was that games shouldn't be decided before turn 4. Increasingly in Standard (Bo1 and Bo3), games feel like they're over by end of turn 3, if only due to snowballing advantage. Thoughts?

At start of game, everyone reveals their commander and you all get a chance to sideboard your deck.
Reduces "non games". Helps protect vs hate pieces. also allows for wish cards!

#mtgfishmail Is Standard just too big to balance now? Before last rotation, there were almost as many base cards legal in Standard (DMU-FIN, 4,128) as in Vintage on 1/1/2000 (LEA-MMQ, 4,138, 6.5 years in), and that was mostly before the 6-set cadence. Before rotation 2020 (GNR-M21) there were 1,857.
