A cluster of four sticky teal blue mushrooms named the blue-green stropharia
Blue mushrooms named the blue-green stropharia (Stropharia aeruginosa). They appear from September to November. Theoretically you can eat them after removing the pileipellis from the pileus, but they are not very tasty. #fungi #mushrooms #nature #photography

Leaning to the right as it grows out of vibrant green moss, a mushroom with a white stipe and a brightly colored cap sits in soft, diffused sunlight. The stipe, while white, has traces of brown and orange on its slightly rough surface. The cap is wet, and its margins are a deep red color, fading to bright orange at the top.
This brightly colored dude seems to be some species of Pyrrhulomyces according to iNaturalist. Love that beautiful cap!

Not a lot of fungi around now. Found these on a walk along the River Esk in Midlothian today. Grey Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). Looking a bit passed their best.

some very festive long-nosed looking conks, with lanky black bodies pouring downward and fanning out with their characteristic orange-to-white umbrella shape, decorated even more festively with some surrounding pine needles
some type of fungus with coral-like minuscule holes, spreading over most of the surface of a log, mostly in shade but a few bits catching oblique sunlight, framing a small sprig of bright green young moss in the center
some type of light brown shelf/bracket mushroom, evidently VERY old: its outer surface has cracked like dried mud, and a large missing chip exposes a decaying black interior, woven with a slight sprig of moss
a lush flush of Turkey Tail mushrooms with their signature "alternating layers of colors fanning out in tie-dye fashion" green-whites and light browns

Two very small mushrooms grow next to each other out of old alder bark chips. The one on the left is about a half-inch tall, and the one on the right is about one and a half inches tall. Their stipes and caps are a uniform pink color and are covered in some sort of coating that appears to have rubbed off in spots, revealing bright red underneath.
I have no clue who these little dudes are. They grow in the same spot in my backyard each year

PES Amazonian var of Psilocybe cubensis. Originally produced by Pacifica Exotica Spora in Hawaii. The strain origins are largely "unknown" as the Amazon is a BIG place. A prime example of this species for microscopy and taxonomy.
