A person with glasses wears a knitted hood with the elongated neck tuned up on the inside to cover his mouth and nose.
A side view of the hood shows a pointy back of the hood. The lines near the top are wavy, with some dotted rows. The alternating colors include blue throughout and a color-changing yarn containing yellow, orange and and greenish blue. Near the front of the hood is a textural chain in the blue yarn.
A view from the front of a person with glasses wearing the bright yellow and blue striped hood. Even though the cowl neck is covering his mouth, it looks like the person is smiling.
The knitted Cowltopus designed by Laura Nelkin, laid out on a clear glass table. The bottom portion is worked in scalloped waves of brioche stitch in orange transitioning to yellow
For #ShowMeYourKnits game, it's yellow week. How about an update on my #Cowltopus? It's got the warm yellows I most enjoy mixed with a zesty orange and turquoise blue. Knit with wool festival yarn I got at #MarylandSheepandWool in previous years. A really fun knit!
