‘A Song for Me and You’ by @hodderbooks.bsky.social author #MikeGayle is a beautifully written story about reconnecting and new beginnings. It’s the first book I’ve read by Mike in a while and I loved it! #BookReview

Took a chance on this book as I was intrigued by the cover and the synopsis on the back cover.
‘Half A World Away’ by @mikegaylethenovelist was a fantastic read. A story of belonging, family, loss and love. Highly recommended. I’m looking to dive into more of Mike’s books.

Weather here has been stupendous, although arguably a little to far on the wrong side of warm for my liking. Still, better than the alternative, although I'm sure the farmers will be wishing for a decent few raindrops sometime soon enough. I made the most of the lovely weather and went for a walk every day, but tried not to linger, so pictures were a little scarce.

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 06/04/25 And another week passes us by. Been really busy at work. Add in a trip to the theatre to see Dear Evan Hansen, attending a gender reveal party, and going to see Six The Musical at the cinema, has made a bit of a dent in my reading progress. I've still managed to complete a couple of books and start a third, but also made the most of the good weather so bookishness has taken a back seat.
