Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 16/11/25 Okay. So this will be a very short post. Worked five whole days this week - what’s that about? - and been nowhere interesting over the weekend as weather was too meh. By meh, I mean wet and miserable so a walk to Costa coffee was the highlight of my two precious days off. I did have something positive this week though - after prepping my post for last Monday, I checked my work emails and found out I passed my apprenticeship.

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 09/11/25 Well I survived the week. I am taking that as a positive. Spent half a day being assessed for my apprenticeship mid week which added far more stress to my life than I was expecting. It has meant that my concentration has been poor for a long time now, for that and numerous other reasons, so it is taking me quite some time to read books I know I would normally have devoured.

Rewind Recap: Weekly Update W/E 08/06/25 Well, I don't mind admitting that last week feels like it was more like last fortnight. But I survived. MIght not have done a lot - and that includes not having achieved a lot reading wise. But what I lacked in volume (or page count) I made up for with enjoyment, and I can't be unhappy with that. Managed a nice long walk on Sunday, caught up on my reviews, and am rounding the final corner of my June review reading list.

Add in a trip to the theatre to see Dear Evan Hansen, attending a gender reveal party, and going to see Six The Musical at the cinema, has made a bit of a dent in my reading progress. I've still managed to complete a couple of books and start a third, but also made the most of the good weather so bookishness has taken a back seat.

Go us! 31 days never feels quite as long as it does in January but, strangely, it also feels far too soon for one whole month of the year to be done with already.
