In closing, Lia Esquillo of @toxicsfree.bsky.social stresses that while current measures have reduced mercury use in some sectors, there is still a need to end legal & illegal mercury trade, mercury use in ASGM & close primary mercury mines to realize the goals of the #MinamataConvention.
