After my stint as chimney-jack last week I fearlessly climbed the roof this evening. The moon was rising "up south" (local vernacular). I took these rooftop snaps around our house.

It was mind blowing to see the models of all the shafts built under the mountain. Also samples of all the different types of minerals extracted below. The house had an amazing view of the Verde Valley in which Sedona’s red rocks can be seen in the background. #ghosttown #miningtown
