One thing has not changed. My mobility never got better! My wheelchairs give me a independence. They allow me to participate a little in life. I use my chair on days when I am too tired to walk. I'm not afraid of falling now.

For the first time in four years, I was able to go and have coffee with a friend outside. We sat in a little bamboo grove and talked the afternoon away.
