Played a very tense game of Midgard that saw the Grey Mountain Collective facing the Uruk-Hai of the White Hand. #Midgard #MurphysHeroes

Interesting game. The Austrians were demolishing the French Centre until their CinC was killed. it then became impossible to coordinate their advance and the French were able to recover. Helped by the Landwehrs firefight with an empty cottage as well. #SpreadTheLard #SharpPractice #MurphysHeroes

French Fusiliers advance to outflank the main Austrian push. Where is the Landwehr?

The Grenzer slow down the French advance but take quite a few hits themselves. This is where the Landwehr should have been.

Snatching a draw from the Jaws of victory. When advancing to follow the defeated Grenadiers the Austrian Commander is killed. 3 hits at long range, 3 sixes, 2 kills, 1, 1

The Landwehr had a great firefight with an empty cottage. They kept it up until the end of the game

The Austrians force the Grenadiers back and Grenzer slow down a French attempt to outflank the main push. At the moment of certain triumph the Austrian commander is killed by long range French fire. #SpreadTheLard #SharpPractice #MurphysHeroes

French Grenadiers have opened fire at long range at the Grenzer whilst two Austrian Fusilier companies are trying to advance.

The Grenzer are slowly degrading the Grenadiers whilst a line company advances. In the top left the Landwehr is still blasting away at the now empty cottage

The first Austrian Fusilier company advances towards the Grenadiers whilst the other is halted to ward of some light cavalry.

The Fusiliers have opened fire at short range and blasted big holes in the line of Grenadiers

After clearing the cottage the Grenzer advanced and provided cover for the Austrian regulars to get into position. The Landwehr is still happily making more holes in the now empty cottage. #SpreadTheLard #SharpPractice #MurphysHeroes
