Showcasing Europe’s night trains from A to Z is the idea of #NightTrainOfTheWeek. This week, with the #nighttrain from #Zurich🇨🇭 to #Zagreb🇭🇷, we walk on the Z side 😉. The service of #HŽPP also calls at #Ljubljana🇸🇮 and is a great start for any journey to #Croatia or #Slovenia.

There can only be one last #NightTrainOfTheWeek this year: The "Santa Claus Express" of @VRmatkalla from #Helsinki🇫🇮 and #Turku🇫🇮 to #Rovaniemi🇫🇮, the best way to get to the #WinterWonderland of Finnish #Lapland. Merry #Christmas to all our friends, followers and supporters!

476 kilometers, 254 tunnels, 243 bridges – this is our recent #NightTrainOfTheWeek from #Belgrade🇷🇸 to #Bar🇲🇪 in numbers. Truely a “must ride” when visiting the #Balkans! And even though it’s a #nighttrain, you’ll see a lot of the breathtaking scenery if you travel in summer.

For our next #NightTrainOfTheWeek we move up to the far north: The @nsb_no service from #Trondheim🇳🇴 to #Bodø🇳🇴 is one of the few #nighttrain|s in Europe crossing the Arctic Circle. Its terminus Bodø is the perfect starting point to discover the dramatic #Lofoten🇳🇴 archipelago.
