A famous bit of "nose art" I have drawn a couple of times. Squadron Leader Zumbach used several versions of Donald Duck for a model, this one appearing on his last mount, Spitfire Vb EN951, RF-D while he was at RAF Kirton in Lindsey with 303 (Polish) Squadron.
