A large gray crane with rusty orange discoloration on many of its feathers stands in a marshy area with new green spring plants just starting to emerge. The crane's neck is bent over its back and it is preening the feathers at the edges of its wings.
With their long necks, Sandhill Cranes are especially skilled at #OddAngles, which makes them perfect for today's #BirdOfTheDay.
