One of my favorite record-acquisition stories is how a guy from Ancestry got a papercut on his thumb from an old medieval manuscript and revived a MEDIEVAL VIRUS in his bloodstream. Fortunately the virus died down but to this day he’s lost feeling in that part of his thumb. #genealogy #oldrecords
