Baltimore Orioles, with bright orange bodies and a black head, are more often heard than seen as they feed high in trees, searching leaves and small branches for insects, flowers, and fruit." And I can attest to that being the truth, especially on this day. I walked and stood in this area of huge trees looking upward in search of the sounds I was hearing. My neck so tired that I almost gave up when this male flew to a more open area of the treetop. I was happy I held out in my search for a while longer!
