A close-up of what is likely an Indian plum (Oemleria cerasiformis) branch in early spring. At the end of the branch are fresh, unfurling leaves and a cluster of pale green drooping flower buds. One small, five-petaled white flower has fully opened near the center. The background is a soft, out-of-focus mix of deep green foliage and dappled light, making the bright spring growth stand out.
