Our #PeatlandACTION Officer Lucy has shared an update on our winter peatland restoration work across Argyll. We are working with landowners at Caladh and Coull Farm to restore damaged bogs for climate and wildlife.

Peatland restoration is underway at Caladh in Cowal! 🌿

Lucy and Clare from our #PeatlandACTION team are working with Dalhanna Farming Company and contractors Net Zero North to restore drains and hags.

Supported by The Scottish Government's Peatland ACTION fund delivered with NatureScot.

Funding approved ✅ This winter we’ll restore almost 500ha of peatland across Islay, Kintyre & West Cowal.
